Shepton Sunday Market rescheduled

Shepton Sunday market is back! The market due to be held on Sunday 18 March was cancelled due to the bad weather experienced across the county, but organisers are set to run the event this weekend on Sunday, 25 March.

Shepton Christmas Market

The Market officers from Mendip District Council have been working since the cancelled market on Sunday to book the traders. So far over 20 traders selling a wide range of produce, crafts and gifts have been confirmed for the rescheduled market.

The dates for future Shepton Sunday Markets taking places are:

  • 15 April
  • 20 May
  • 17 June
  • 15 July
  • 16 September
  • 21 October
  • 18 November 
  • 16 December

Following the success of the Shepton Mallet Sunday Markets in 2017 Mendip District Council in partnership with Shepton Mallet Town Council and the community made the decision earlier in the year to bring the markets back to the town centre.
