Football pitches
We have football pitches at West Shepton Playing Fields that are available for hire. In addition to these, we welcome enquiries regarding playing scheduled fixtures on the Recreation Ground in Wells which is normally used as a kickabout area.

Booking a Football Pitch
- To check the availability of pitches, please contact Neighbourhood Services
- You will need to complete the
application form [122kb] and read the conditions of hire - Public liability insurance for a minimum £5 million is required before the first match
- If you would like to book the pitch for the football season please send us the list of fixtures prior to the first match
At least three full working days notice of bookings is required to enable us to instruct our contractor to mark out the pitches in time.
Please note that there are no changing facilities.
