General Data Protection Regulation courses

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect in May 2018 marking the biggest change in data protection law for 20 years.

The new Regulation will impose many legal obligations on organisations that control or process data. The financial penalties for non-compliance are substantial so it is absolutely vital that your organisation is fully prepared as early as possible. Throughout January and February we ran a series of free workshops covering:

  1. Data reviews
  2. Identifying data types
  3. Planning data
  4. Data cleansing
  5. Data storage
  6. Breach response plan

Around 200 businesses accessed the programme, which has now finished, however, you may be able to find some other sessions in Bristol and surrounding areas by searching Eventbrite.
