1 CHAIR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mobile phones should be switched to silent. An induction loop is fitted in the Council Chamber. Anyone who is a hearing aid user should switch their hearing aid to position 'T'. The Chair will explain the evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency

The Apprenticeship Levy was first announced in the Chancellor's Autumn Statement in 2015 but formally came into force on 06/04/2017. This report summarises the implications for Mendip District Council (MDC) and our options for utilising the funding moving forward.

11 EQUALITY OBJECTIVES
Mendip District Council is required by statute to establish and review organisational Equality Objectives. Our current objectives run from April 2016 to April 2018. This report outlines the progress made so far on these objectives and a proposed extension of the current Objectives till 2019. It also provides recommendations from the Member Equality Steering Group.
