6          2018/19 QUARTER 4 BUDGET MONITORING AND OUTTURN REPORT

The report outlines the Budget Outturn position for 2018/19 and requests for Earmarked Reserves as part of the year end process to meet commitments that are expected to crystallise in 2019/20.  The figures form an important element of the Statement of Accounts.

8          STRATEGIC ECONOMIC REVIEW - PROGRESS REPORT

The report highlights progress towards delivering the strategic technical evidence base to support the Local Plan; to help deliver future strategic growth, and to support future business case development for significant infrastructure improvements.

9          FIELDS IN TRUST: TOR SPORT AND LEISURE, GLASTONBURY

Through working with Fusion Lifestyle, Glastonbury Town Council and the Friends of Tor Leisure, the District Council is seeking to provide a mechanism through which the Town Green application on the Tor Sport and Leisure site can be successfully withdrawn.

10       REVENUES AND BENEFITS RECOVERY POLICY

The collection of council tax, business rates and recovery of housing benefit overpayments are governed by statute.  However this Policy attempts to set out Mendip District Council's policy in meeting these statutory requirements enabling the Council, as a Billing Authority to collect these incomes in an efficient, effective, equitable and fair manner.

11       MENDIP HILLS AONB MANAGEMENT PLAN

Under the Countryside and Rights of Way (CRoW) Act 2000 local authorities are required to produce Management Plans for Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs) within their boundaries and to review them at least every 5 years.
