Design Review Panels
The National Planning Policy Framework states that "Local planning authorities should have local design review arrangements in place to provide assessment and support to ensure high standards of design".
Accordingly, the District Council has endorsed the referral of appropriate schemes to the Devon and Somerset Design Review Panel and has resolved to give significant weight to the Panel's recommendations when the Council considers the design quality of any such scheme.
